The fabric provided is extremely effective at blocking light. The setup instructions are simple and intuitive, though I'm guessing I skipped over the part about letting the adhesive set before hanging the heavy fabric! They provide a little extra if you do make a mistake. Overall it's made sleep during short summer nights a lot easier!

Very effective. Easy to use! I'm so glad I found this product. It’s the only product I’ve found that allows me to effectively blackout the nursery while also having natural light during the day. We already had blackout curtains installed but the light from outside seeped through the top and sides. I used the OtterSpace with the curtains I already had in place. I love that I can easily open and close the curtains with one hand because the magnets are so easy to use.
Bought this for my daughter’s window and it’s fantastic. Total blackout! Easy to install and can be adjusted as needed. Highly recommend for these tiny humans who need total darkness to sleep past 5:30am!
These curtains really work. The room is totally dark! We have moved to a new place and it was hard to sleep due to the very bright light coming from a building parking lot right across our window. So glad we can sleep well again. Thank you very much!

The solution you've been looking for! I've tried it all and moved a bunch- THIS is the solution you're looking for. It works as advertised, set-up was easy! The blackout blocks even worked with a cheap Walmart curtain but the otterspace black out curtain functions much better. I'll never be without this!

The best blackout solution. For my oldest kid, I never found a blackout solution that really worked. I just had a new baby and came across these curtains on Reddit. I thought they were a bit pricey, but decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did, they work so well! My husband installed them and it wasn't so quick, but now that they are up, it's so easy to open and close them. Very happy with this purchase!
These are the best black out curtains! We live in California so the sun is always out and this curtain did a great job at blocking everything out during my baby’s nap time and preventing him from waking up too early in the morning
Pure blackout. We have blackout cellular blinds in our nursery, but light was leaking out of the edges. I ordered the blackout curtains since it served like I could install them with magnetic blocks underneath the blinds. It was easy to install and worked wonders. I noticed a difference in our baby's ability to put himself back to sleep during sleep transitions during daytime naps and overnight. I highly recommend these curtains.
Best decision ever! We've used the cheap blackout shades from Amazon but they were not worth it trying to fix them when they'd come off and we'd have to buy additional stickers to get them to block out light totally. These were a GAME CHANGER! Pitch black room and easy to install and take off to open the windows. 10/10!
Wow! We bought 2 panels for our room because our 4 month old has hit his sleep regression. Our room is so dark I don't want to transfer the panels to the nursery when he switches rooms! They are excellent!
Lifesaver. We live in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle) so during the winter months we use SAD lamps to battle the Big Dark, but when spring rolls around the light returns with a vengeance. It's fantastic and absolutely no complaints from me, but we just welcomed a baby so he needs his room quiet and dark for naps and regulating his circadian rhythm. These OtterSpace panels are amazing at shutting out the light when needed, and they have the added benefit of tamping down street noise as well as keeping the room cooler when the sun is blazing outside. game changer! I can't believe these aren't more popular! I tried a few DIY solutions to keep the morning sun from coming in around and above our regular blackout curtains but nothing worked as well as I'd like. This, however, was so easy and works perfectly! I wish I'd found them sooner.
Perfectly Dark. I was very happy with my purchase. The blackout curtains are nice and thick and with the magnets no light leaks through. The outer curtains were also much better than expected, very thick and of good quality. Will definitely be ordering more!

They work! TLDR: These curtains work. Buy them! As a parent of an infant, I know how crucial quality naps are for both baby and mom! Starting at three months, we struggled with daytime naps, but these curtains have been a game-changer! like the ease of engaging and disengaging the magnets for open windows during playtime and closed during nap time. There is no sound compared to velcro options. They don't slip compared to suction cup options. There is no light that bleeds from above, below or on the sides. I'd even recommend these for those needing to sleep during the day or who wake up easily with the sunrise.
This actually works!! I was skeptical from the instagram ads at first, but was desperate for a solution that actually worked. The use of magnets is so simple but I haven’t seen it successfully done before this product. I love that I can have the curtains open when my baby is awake, and then close it for nap time easily.

Pretty darn good. purchased to help blackout our nursery and after a quick an easy install- seem to do the job. The only thing is I think I'll add extra magnets to use in the middle as our windows are kinda large

Works great! Toddler started sleeping so much better after we installed these, she can go past dawn now. There is a little light leak from the top so we are working with company to get extra blocks (they said there's also a way to fix the leak with the existing blocks but I'd rather get a few more since the window is really wide). Really high quality. Even my husband who was a skeptic commented on how easy these are to use. Installing was a pain, but that is probably also because I was extremely sleep deprived due to toddler sleep regression (which is now way better thanks to these + adding a red night light because she's scared of the dark now?)
